at the hospital for ill fairy tales

Deborah's poem 'at the hospital for ill fairy tales' is published in the Summer Solstice 2022 edition of Ink Drinkers. The issue is called 'Dreams' - and this poem falls at the more nightmarish end of that category... imagining some fairy tale characters institutionalised with mental health issues.

Both the idea and the title of the poem are taken from a line ("I dream of a hospital for ill fairy tales") in the body of a poem called 'Findings' by Greek poet Tasos Leivaditis. The poem is published in his collection 'The Blind Man With The Lamp', which has been translated into English by N.N.Trakakis.
